Sorry I didn't post about this right after. I did watch it but was rather bored however the winner was perfect. The Top 5

Ilhas de Buzios - Lucas Malvacini

Roraima - Junior Ferreira

Distrito Federal - Cesar Curti

Atol das Rocas - Renan Oliveira

Alagoas - Donato Oliveira

The Top 5 were a great choice but personally I would like to have seen Piaui make the Top 5 but supposedly his final answer was dreadful and personally I'd have liked to see Atol das Rocas rank above Distrito Federal.

It was so disappointing that Ilha do Porto Belo - Edu Locatelli, Sergipe - Joao Chiaffitelli and shockingly Ilhas do Delta do Jacui - Gustavo Martins Schmitt not making it. Some of the Top 20 were questionable when Gustavo missed out.

It was pretty exciting when Roraima was waiting for the last judge to call out her Top 3 because she had already given Lucas 2 points so if she didn't name Junior Ferreira as her 1st choice Lucas would win. But then she called Renan and so Lucas won. To be honest anyone from my Pre Pageant Top 5 would have made an excellent winner but personally I thought Piaui did sound a bit muted compared to the other 4. It's interesting though that Lucas didn't get as many 1st as 3 or 4 other guys but won because of loads of 2nds.

Anyway it'll be exciting seeing this batch in international competition, I think last year was probably stronger but Lucas Malvacini and Junior Ferreira will be sentimental favourites wherever they compete.
